Can I make same-day reservations?

Sure thing! Please check real-time availability on our website, conundroom.us. If you think you missed the booking window, email us at info@conundroom.us to inquire about availability.

I already made a reservation. Can I add more people?

Absolutely! You can bring the extra players along and pay for them when you arrive. The price for extra players is the same as regular tickets — $46 per person.

Can I have more players than the booking max for an escape room?

We allow adding up to 2 extra players above the booking maximum. Book online for the maximum number of players allowed, then bring the extra players along and pay when you arrive.

Can I book for more than 10 players?

We have 3 escape rooms at the same Downtown location — Frankenstein, The Vault and Luck & Key Bar — each holds 8–10 people. Book them together! Similarly, you can book Alice in Wonderland, Zeppelin and The Ghost Ship for an event of up to 24 players. For kids, book School of Magic and Crafted together. Email info@conundroom.us for help with a large reservation.

My friends can't book the same game as me — it's no longer online!

We only do private experiences, so other customers can't add themselves to your booking, even friends. If you already booked, just bring your friends along and purchase extra tickets when you arrive ($46 per person).

Escape rooms

Which experiences have multiple rooms?

All of our escape rooms have at least 2 rooms.

Do we actually get locked in?

No — we do not lock players in, for fire-safety reasons. You can leave the escape room at any point for any reason if needed.

Do any of your rooms have flashing/strobing lights?

Yes. The Vault has rapidly changing LED strips across the rooms, and Zeppelin has some red "danger" strobing.

What are the age requirements?

Our age requirements are based on the difficulty of each room and the fragility of the puzzles.

  • School of Magic and Crafted — ages 8 and up.
  • The Ghost Ship — ages 10 and up.
  • Alice in Wonderland and Zeppelin — ages 14 and up.
  • The Vault and Frankenstein — strictly ages 14 and up.
  • Luck & Key — strictly ages 16 and up.

For The Vault, Luck & Key and Frankenstein, younger players are allowed only as part of a team of adults (18+) where the number of adults is the same or greater than the number of kids.

How often do you change the puzzles?

We don't. Our escape rooms are permanent installations that take months to build. We rarely change the puzzles unless we rebuild the whole thing.

Can we bring food/drinks/alcohol?

You're welcome to bring a covered/bottled drink inside an escape room — no open cups. Food and alcohol are strictly prohibited inside our escape rooms; we might refuse service if you bring these.

Do you have something for only 2 players?

Yes! We have 2 escape rooms for 2-player teams — School of Magic and Zeppelin. Both are multi-room adventures that work perfectly for small teams.

A room has a minimum of 3 players. Can we do it with 2?

If a room requires a minimum of 3 players, we don't recommend playing with 2. While you technically can, it's best to have 3 on your team. If you play with 2, you'll still need to book for 3 as per system requirements.

Can I play solo?

Sorry, we can't accommodate solo players — our puzzles require multiple players. However, you can still play our online adventure, Imaginarium; it's a challenge solo, but doable.

Kids & families

Which escape rooms are best for kids?

We have 3 escape rooms for kids 13 and under — School of Magic, Crafted and The Ghost Ship. No prior context or trivia needed. School of Magic and Crafted are 8+, The Ghost Ship is 10+.

I booked for a team of kids. Do I need to be in the room with them?

We require adult supervision (someone 18+) for kids 13 and under. The adult doesn't have to play — just watch so kids stay on track and don't break or take puzzle pieces. Only one adult per team of kids is needed, and they don't count as a player or need a ticket as long as they're not playing.

Can I book for more than 10 kids?

Yes — book School of Magic and Crafted together for a large team. Email info@conundroom.us for help with a large reservation.

Can kids do a room above their recommended age?

Not all. We design puzzles for specific age groups, so most will be too difficult or uninteresting for younger kids, and some are too fragile. For The Vault, Frankenstein and Luck & Key Bar we do not allow kids to play independently — only as part of a team of adults where the number of adults is the same or greater than the number of kids (e.g. 3 kids + 4 adults OK; 5 kids + 2 adults not OK).

Can kids join adult teams in rooms above their recommended age?

Yes! As long as children are part of a team of adults, they can participate. For The Vault, Frankenstein and Luck & Key Bar, we ask for the same or greater number of adults as kids (e.g. 2 kids + 2 adults OK; 2 kids + 1 adult not OK).

Can I bring a child or baby under 6 years old?

No problem! Children ages 6 and younger can accompany adult teams into the game for free. We can host up to two kids for free in some of our games.

Is there anything scary inside?

Frankenstein is the only escape room designed to be spooky, creepy and even a bit revolting. All other escape rooms have no elements designed to be scary on purpose.

Do parents need to sign individual waivers?

Yes. We'll ask you to sign a quick waiver before the start of the game.

I want to get a gift certificate. How do I do that?

Buy one online right here on our gift cards page. Choose the amount and enter your payment info. You'll provide an email (yours or the recipient's) that receives the confirmation with the code. Online gift certificates are location-specific, but we can transfer one between locations on request — just email info@conundroom.us. You can also buy a generic gift certificate in person at any location.

What do I need to know about your gift certificates?

All gift card/voucher/certificate sales are final and non-refundable. Our gift certificates have no expiration date and can be used immediately once you have the confirmation email with the code. Any leftover balance (e.g. a 4-ticket voucher used for 2 players) can be used later — it doesn't expire. Online gift certificates are location-specific but transferable on request via info@conundroom.us.

Can I make a gift card for my friends/family with the certificate I just purchased?

Yes! If you used your own email at purchase, the confirmation email has a green "Create a personalized gift card" button — add your own image and message, then print, save as PDF, or email it to the recipient. If you entered the recipient's email, they received the confirmation directly. You can also buy a physical gift card in person.

My gift certificate is "invalid"! What's wrong?

Most likely it was purchased for a different location. We can transfer it to your desired room easily, or make the booking for you — just email info@conundroom.us.
